Bud & Rita’s Avondale is officially official!
This past weekend, we celebrated our much-anticipated Bud & Rita’s Grand Opening – two days filled with delicious food, awesome prizes, and great company. Many thanks to all of you that came out for our festivities this past weekend. We loved seeing your friendly faces come together to celebrate two of our favorite things – cannabis and community!
Bud & Rita’s Grand Opening this weekend extended beyond just cannabis! Our live DJ spun some great retro records to set the tone as you all explored our charming Budrista Club event space. We had some awesome brands join us with interactive stations – shoutout to Community Cannabis, The Bettering Company, Airo, and Northern Heights for celebrating the weekend with us. Customers had a chance to win a range of prizes at our raffle table, including merch, bongs, and gift cards from some amazing local businesses. And speaking of local businesses – our delicious finger food was filled with some of Chicago’s top eats, such as Honey Butter Fried Chicken sandwiches, Mic Duck’s Chicago-style dogs, customized B&R cookies from Sol Cakes, and much more!
Our long-awaited ribbon-cutting was made even more special by friends, family, and all of you Bud enthusiasts. We’re so excited to be in the amazing neighborhood of Avondale – we hope to see you all take the Blue Line to the Bud Line whenever you need a friendly joint or a tasty edible!
Couldn’t make it to our Grand Opening? No need to fret! We have a ton more cool events coming up at B&R these next few weeks. This Saturday (5/4), we’re getting Kentucky Derby-ready with some zero-proof Mint Julep mocktails by Chuchaqui Cocktails and we’re having a sale on all Skywalker products for Star Wars Day; on Sunday (5/5), starting at noon, we’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo with fresh tacos, zero-proof margaritas, live Mariachi music, and a Loteria!
