Hey Avondale – it’s officially spring! We kicked off the season the Bud and Rita’s way – with lots
of fun, friends, and cool events. Our fellow Star Wars fanatics got to celebrate May the Fourth
with weekend deals on our premium Skywalker flower. For those who’d prefer horse racing over
lightsabers, we provided Kentucky Derby style zero-proof Mint Julep mocktails courtesy of
Chuchaqui Cocktails. On Cinco De Mayo, we celebrated with tacos and paletas from our
neighbors, Taqueria Mazamitla and La Michoacana. Buds that stopped by got the chance to
listen to some live Mariachi music and win a prize during our Lotería!
We’ve got some more fun events coming up as we ease into the month of June! On May 31,
we’ll freshen our Friday up with a Margo’s Mint’s Lemonade Stand, complete with ice-cold
lemonade and some mint-condition merch. On Thursday, June 6th, we’re bringing Yuba to you
with a Yubalachia Pop-Up at Bud & Rita’s Avondale. Swing by to get a taste of summer and
learn more about Yubalachia Infused Dried Fruits (and snag some cute stickers while you’re at
it!)
If these May pop-ups didn’t fit into your calendar, don’t you worry! We have plenty of
